Mailing List

The Bucksgoth email mailing list can be found here:

http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/bucksgoths/

Once you've joined, you'll receive emails posted to the group by mailing list members. We use this to organize meet ups, as well as generally chat about things: mainly, but not exclusively of a Gothy nature.

Twisted Creations

To join you need a Yahoo account. These are free and quick to set up, and provide you with an ID that you use to join mailing lists.

You can have the emails sent to your Yahoo email address, or any other address you wish to use, and can choose if you want individual emails or a digest. Or, if you like, you can also read messages on the website rather than have them mailed to you.

It's generally a relatively quiet list, with around 5 -50 messages per week. We're always keen to welcome new members, and it's a good way to get to know us before coming to a meet.

When you join, you'll be sent a questionnaire that you can complete and send to the list to tell everyone about you. This isn't mandatory, but it's useful! If you want to, you can also download this here.

There are a few guidelines to follow when posting to the list...

1) Flamewars and personal attacks will not be tolerated.

2) 'Spam', advertising and personal ads should not be posted.

3) Members who persist in posting inappropriate content will initially have their posts moderated, so they are vetted before they appear If the behaviour continues they will be removed from the mailing list.

4) This is predominantly an adult list. While anyone over 13 can join, most of us are over 18 and tend to meet at pubs. If you are below legal drinking age, please don't expect to come along to pub meets or expect older members to buy you drinks. Some of the content of mails may be of an adult nature, and messages are not censored for swearing.

5) General netiquette rules should always be followed - e.g. avoid 'SMS' speak when posting, ensure you comment posts accurately, and avoid posting offensive content.
